A closure installation is more just “no leave out”

♥The foundation must be flat avoiding bulky or thick braids

♥The closure must be placed first in order to secure its space

♥All closures DO NOT have to be plucked

– examine the closure

– pluck closure  according to persons natural part

♥ Find a powder concealer (Doesn’t have to be expensive) as close to your skin complexion as possible……. and DAB

– You do not have to put concealer on the closure everyday. Shouldn’t have to reapply more than once every two weeks (varies depending on personal activity)

“If you’ve never used apple cider vinegar on your natural hair you’re absolutely missing out. For a deep cleanse: mix 2 tablespoons of ACV per 2oz of water, put into a spray bottle and spray from the roots to the ends. After the hair is extremely saturated in the solution, leave in for at least an hour to overnight. Rinse, condition and VWA-LA!!

Defined Curls!!

My hair is beautiful beyond imagine. My hair reflects positive energy, growth, strength, and prosperity. I love each and every coil. It is my prized possession and the crown I wear everyday.

My Very First Closure…..

You always have to start somewhere…. and that somewhere WOOOOOO was that a story…..

So let me tell ya’ll about my first closure experience….

I decided I wanted to enter the closure world so I talked about it with a friend of mine who worked in a salon not too far from my school. While having multiple talks about how exciting this would be and how she SLAYSSSSSSSSS closures, I said Why Not?!?!

She tells me she has 3 closures that I can pick from so we meet at potbelly

She pulls three closures out of her suitcase. The first closure was homicidal LMAO

She pulls out the second closure, its balding. So i’m like ehhhh maybe i’ll just stick to my twist outs and bantu knots.

The last one gave me some hope and after washing and conditioning it, it was pretty decent. At this point, it’s late like LATE so I decided I had no other choice but to continue with the installation since the wait would’ve then been a waste of time.

blah blah blah

1:30 A.M I finally return back to my dorm, wrapped my hair and went to bed my head was in dire pain. Now I was really excited because my roommate’s birthday was the next day and we were planning on getting dumb cute.

Come night time, I fleek my face and unwrap my hair and notice the closure was lifted, it wasn’t laying and just wasn’t the one one.

I was able to pull the ultimate ‘ Fake it till you make it ‘ but Kierra was one unhappy camper.

After a while I just couldn’t take it. I decided I had no choice but to think of another style that wouldn’t waste the installation but make it to the point where I actually wanted to wear it.

Then, this happened…… 🙂

So…. I’m a broke college student and really don’t have the funds to pay for hair products. Are there alternatives?

You can obtain the same amount of conditioning and moisture from your very own kitchen.

Let’s call this Sweet Hair Salad 🤗

3 Eggs

2 Tablespoons of honey

3/4 Tablespoons of Mayonnaise

1 Teaspoon of Vanilla Extract (To dilute the mayo smell)

if you want, feel free to sprinkle some nutmeg in there

Beat the ingredients together very well and lather through scalp, strands, and ends.

Leave in for about 30 minutes with a plastic cap (or plastic bag) on your head.

When rinsing this concoction out of your hair, DO NOT USE HOT WATER

I promise you do not want to make an order of scrambled eggs in your hair topped with honey and mayonnaise.🤢  YUCK!

Make sure you rinse thoroughly…..

💁🏾   Egg yolk simulates the scalp, while the egg white serves as one of the best                        sources of protein. Protein makes the hair follicles stronger

💁🏾  Honey seals the moisture through your locs.

💁🏾  Mayo adds shine to your hair

💁🏾  Nutmeg works effectively to tone your hair. It also increases blood circulation                  in the scalp and helps hair growth. Keeping the hair shiny and silky, it adds                      volume to the hair
